Born in a Muslim Pathani family, this was his real name
Born on 7 January 1967 in the Muslim Pathani family of Jaipur, Irfan was rich in versatility since childhood. His full and real name was Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan, which was later changed to Irrfan Khan. Irrfan Khan never wanted to get into acting. He was aspiring to become a cricketer, but when he got scholarship from National Scroll of Drama, the acting worm woke up.
Graduation studies on mother’s condition
In an interview to an English newspaper about five years ago, Irrfan Khan said that there was no career pressure on him. Just his mother’s wish that Irfan somehow pass the graduation. During the interview, Irfan had said that his mother’s condition was that he should first graduate and later focus on realizing his dreams. Irfan always wanted to go into the acting world, so he fulfilled his mother’s dream. But after becoming a successful actor, Irfan said that graduation degree in acting career did not work anywhere.
He wanted to become a cricketer but was rejected by his parents. After this, as if with a stroke of luck, he was encouraged to attend NSD (National School of Drama) and got a scholarship. He was doing his MA in Jaipur at the time. He lied about experience to get admission in theater school.
The actor, who started his career in 1998 with the film Salaam Bombay, did not think that he would make even his acting crazy to Hollywood. In Hollywood, he acted in historical films such as Mighty Heart and Jurassic Park.
Acted as AC repair on arrival in Mumbai
Irfan Khan came to Mumbai after taking action, and here he started doing AC repair. It is believed that the person whose house he first went to fix the AC was the house of superstar Rajesh Khanna.
